Welcome to Salento
Casina Montana is a small masseria (traditional farmhouse) built in typical 19th-century dry-stone, located in Corigliano d’Otranto, a village in the heart of Grecìa Salentina, right in the center of Salento, in the region of Puglia.
Recently converted into an agriturismo, the property can accommodate up to 14 guests in 5 independent rooms, all equipped with every comfort and surrounded by a beautifully maintained 20,000 m² garden filled with ancient olive trees and golden wheat fields. The rooms are situated in front of the main house, where Leo and Lina’s family lives year-round and warmly welcomes guests with delicious breakfasts and the traditional warmth of southern Italian hospitality.
Masseria Casina Montana is just 2 km from the crossroads connecting Maglie, Otranto, Gallipoli, and Lecce, making it easy to reach both the Adriatic and the Ionian coasts in a short time — perfect for enjoying the crystal-clear sea, endless white beaches, the Baroque architecture of Lecce, and the food and wine trails of Salento, all accompanied by the rhythm of the traditional “pizzica” dance from La Notte della Taranta.
It is also a strategic base for visiting Ostuni, Alberobello, Castellana Grotte, and Matera, before returning in the evening to enjoy the peace and relaxation of the surrounding countryside.
For sports enthusiasts, a sports center offering tennis, swimming, roller skating, and ultralight flying is located just a short distance away.
Casina Montana — where peace and authenticity are tradition!
